On the evening of July 2, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of the Center for Disease Control of Nghe An province informed: From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on July 2, Nghe An discovered 3 new positive cases of Covid-19. All 3 are F1 cases that had been quarantined before.

First positive caseTTB, male, born in 1999, driver, address in Tan Loc village, Pho Chau commune, Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai. The patient is the son of patient TTT who was announced earlier (related to the bus trip on the Duc Pho, Quang Ngai - Mong Cai, Quang Ninh route). On June 22, patient TTB was quarantined at Quynh Luu District Medical Center and the first test sample was negative. On July 1, the patient was tested for the second time and the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Second positive caseis VTMK, female, born in 2017, address in Tan Phuong Block, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City. Patient VTMK is the child of patient V.D.L who was announced earlier. On June 24, the patient was quarantined at Vinh Plaza Hotel and had samples taken 3 times on June 24, June 26, and June 28, all with negative results. On July 1, patient VTMK was tested for the 4th time with positive results for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Third positive caseis NQV, male, born in 1966, farming, address in Vinh Xuan Hamlet, Hung Dong Commune, Vinh City. Patient NQV is the husband of the BTS patient announced earlier. On June 27, patient NQV was quarantined at Hung Dong Medical Station and the first sample was negative. On July 1, the patient's second sample was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Up to now, Nghe An province has discovered112positive cases of COVID-19, including: Vinh City: 74 cases, Dien Chau: 15 cases, Tan Ky: 01 case, Quy Hop: 05 cases, Nam Dan: 04 cases, Do Luong: 01 case, Hoang Mai: 02 cases, Nghia Dan: 01 case, Nghi Loc: 04 cases, Quynh Luu: 05 cases. In addition, 2 cases were detected as re-positive after treatment in Nghia Dan and Que Phong... There are 3 patients who have been cured and discharged from the hospital.

Of the 112 COVID-19 cases in Nghe An, 40 cases are related to Vinh wholesale market, specifically: 16 cases of direct trading at the wholesale market tested positive, 19 F1 cases related to the wholesale market became F0 and 5 F2 cases related to the wholesale market became F0.

Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh added: Regarding the Vinh wholesale market outbreak, all 2,975 community screening samples related to the wholesale market in 15 communes and wards of Vinh city taken on the evening of July 1 were negative.
