On the afternoon of March 7, the Center for Disease ControlNghe AnInformation: In the last 12 hours (from 06:00 to 18:00 on March 7, 2022),Nghe An7,991 new positive cases of Covid-19 were recorded. Of these, 2,046 were community cases; 5,945 cases had been quarantined before (5,929 cases were F1, 16 cases returned from other provinces with the epidemic).

Localities with the highest number of patients in the past 12 hours: Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Vinh City, Quy Hop, Tan Ky... The number of deaths in the past 12 hours was 02 patients (aged 60-70); both patients had underlying diseases.

Thus, in the past 24 hours, Nghe An recorded 10,873 new positive cases of Covid-19 (the highest in 24 hours so far), including 2,766 community cases; 02 deaths. This is the second consecutive day that Nghe An recorded over 10,000 new infections per day.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, the province has recorded 128,006 cases of Covid-19. The cumulative number of patients who have recovered and been discharged from hospital: 87,484. The cumulative number of patients who have died: 131. The number of patients currently being treated: 40,391.
