Ship sinks in Taiwan, one Vietnamese crew member missing
Nine people were rescued while another remains missing after a fishing boat capsized off the coast of Ruifang in New Taipei City on the morning of November 8.

Taiwan's CNA news agency quoted the New Taipei Fire Department as saying the ship crashed at 5:41 a.m. local time. Rescue efforts are still ongoing.
According to the declaration, the ship's crew members include a Taiwanese captain and Chinese, Filipino, Indonesian and Vietnamese crew members.
According to Taiwanese authorities, the ship hit a coral reef about 5km off the Nan-ya fishing port in Ruifang.
The collision threw all 10 people on board into the sea.
By 6:50 a.m., Taiwanese firefighters and coast guard rescued nine of the ten crew members, including the captain, surnamed Yang, a Chinese sailor, a Filipino, two Indonesians, and four Vietnamese crew members.
The nine people rescued all had no serious health problems and were brought ashore.
The two injured were transferred to Keelung Chang Gung Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are currently searching for the 10th member of the ship who is still missing.
According to initial information, the missing person is a Vietnamese crew member.
