Policy for citizens when registering for military service
Citizens working at agencies and organizations receiving salaries from the state budget or state-owned enterprises during the time of military service registration; health examination and check-up upon call by the Commander of the District Military Command shall receive full salary, current allowances and round-trip travel expenses according to current regulations of law.
This is one of the contents of the Decree regulating the procedures for registration and the regime and policies for citizens during the period of registration, examination and health check for military service.

Also according to the Decree, citizens who do not belong to agencies or organizations receiving salaries from the state budget or state-owned enterprises during the time of military service registration; health examination and check-up upon call of the Commander of the District Military Command are guaranteed the following regimes: Meal allowance equal to the basic daily meal allowance of non-commissioned officers and infantry soldiers; payment of travel expenses to and from the airport according to current regulations of law.
In principle, the time to travel, return, and register for military service or undergo medical examination and check-up of 4 hours or more per day is counted as a whole day; less than 4 hours is counted as 1/2 day.
Citizens working at agencies, organizations receiving salaries from the state budget, and state-owned enterprises when registering for military service; having health examinations and checks upon call by the Commander of the District Military Command are paid for by the agency, organization, or enterprise.
Citizens who do not belong to agencies or organizations receiving salaries from the state budget or state-owned enterprises when registering for military service will have the payment made by the Commune-level Military Command and settlement with the District-level Military Command.
Citizens who do not belong to agencies or organizations receiving salaries from the state budget or state-owned enterprises when performing health examinations and checks at the call of the Commander of the District Military Command will be paid by the District Military Command./.
