On the second working day of the first session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will consider and decide to dismiss Mr. Ngo Duc Manh, from the National Assembly delegation of Binh Thuan province, from his duties as a National Assembly deputy. The reason is that Mr. Manh has been appointed as the Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia.

Vote of confidence possible mid-year

Phase 2, UB g (amendment); give second opinions on issues with different opinions of the draft law on Special Administrative - Economic Units.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly will devote a separate program to question and answer questions for Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh and Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long.

A newly added content is that the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will give opinions on taking a vote of confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People's Council.

Specifically, on the last working day on the morning of March 22, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will listen to Head of the Delegation Work Committee Tran Van Tuy present a report on this content.

According to the provisions of Resolution 85 of 2015 of the National Assembly on taking a vote of confidence, the National Assembly and People's Councils will organize a vote of confidence once in each term, at the regular session at the end of the 3rd year of the term, that is, at the 6th session of the National Assembly at the end of the year.

However, there are many proposals to move the vote of confidence forward, from the 6th session at the end of this year to the 5th session, scheduled to take place in May-June. Since this is contrary to Resolution 85, the National Assembly Standing Committee needs to discuss it.
