Mr. Son will plant more than 13,000 bamboo trees along Lam River to prevent landslides.

Since the 6th day of Tet, Anh Son district has planted bamboo in vulnerable areas at risk of landslides, creating a solid ecological embankment along the Lam River.

Nghe An Farmers' Association launched a movement for farmers to plant trees to prevent landslides and create landscapes on both banks of Lam River.

At the launching ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association, leaders of Thanh Chuong district and farmers of Dung town planted some kapok trees and 300 bamboo trees along the Lam River bank through Thanh Chuong town.
Quy Hop voters petitioned on issues of merging hamlets, clean water, and preventing landslides.

On the afternoon of December 2, National Assembly deputies elected in constituency No. 2 of Nghe An province met with voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly in the communes and towns of Chau Thai, Chau Ly, Bac Son, Nam Son, Chau Cuong, Quy Hop town, Chau Dinh, Quy Hop district.
