On the afternoon of December 2, National Assembly deputies elected in constituency No. 2 of Nghe An province met with voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly in the communes and towns of Chau Thai, Chau Ly, Bac Son, Nam Son, Chau Cuong, Quy Hop town, Chau Dinh, Quy Hop district.
Attending the meeting with voters were National Assembly deputies: Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Ethnic Committee, and representatives of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Quy Hop district and related departments and branches.

At the conference, delegate Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security reported to voters on the results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province at the Session.

With a democratic, frank and open spirit, voters of communes and towns in Quy Hop district proposed 3 groups of issues, with 12 opinions including policy, environment, and traffic.
Voters of Chau Quang commune proposed that after merging hamlets, Chau Quang commune will have 20 hamlets, of which 7 hamlets have invested in building community activity houses, while 13 hamlets are operating in old, degraded cultural houses that are too cramped and do not have enough seats. They requested the province to pay attention to investing in construction.
Voters also reported that in the Ban Cu bridge area, the floods have changed the flow, causing a risk of landslides causing the bridge to collapse. They requested the province to have a plan to inspect and fix it. In addition, the hamlets along the Nam Huong river (Dong Lum hamlet, Yen Luom hamlet) have landslides reaching the houses of some households. They requested the province to support funding to straighten the river to prevent landslides.

Voters recommend that all levels pay attention to and invest in expanding the roadside, sidewalk, corridor, and building a ditch cover on National Highway 48D from Km 107 + 00 to Km 109 + 400 (Dong Nai intersection to the culvert through Quang Thinh hamlet) because on both sides of this road there are 3 schools, commune office headquarters, commune health station, shops, a large number of people, and heavy trucks often passing through, posing many potential traffic safety risks.
Voters of Quy Hop district reported that Circular No. 46/2016/TTLT-BTC-BVHTTDL guiding the special management regime for provincial and district-level mobile propaganda teams abolished the spending norms from September 1, 2024. Therefore, the content of only supporting mass art performers participating in training and performing at competitions and art performances at all levels does not have a document stipulating the support spending norms, so it cannot be paid. Voters requested that competent authorities issue a document guiding the support norms for this content at the commune level.

Voters of Quy Hop town reported that recently, people in the town have received written information from the District People's Committee and the Town People's Committee about the warning that the quality of raw water input to the Quy Hop Water Plant's water supply station is contaminated with 20 times more heavy metal arsenic, in addition to substances such as: Ammonium, Cadmium, Manganese, iron, lead, Chromium mercury, and at the same time, people are advised to limit the use of tap water. Voters recommended that Quy Hop water supply station change the input raw water source so that people can use clean water.
In addition, recommendations related to: policies for meritorious people; allowances for block and village cadres; land dispute resolution; procedures for granting and exchanging land use right certificates,... were also raised by voters at the conference.

Representatives of provincial departments and branches and leaders of Quy Hop District People's Committee discussed and directly explained a number of issues under their authority.
On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, National Assembly delegate Tran Duc Thuan respectfully thanked the sentiments and enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters who answered and clarified some of their opinions; acknowledged and accepted all legitimate opinions and recommendations of voters to synthesize and transfer to relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
