Teenage conflict, 11 teenagers were prosecuted for "disturbing public order"

From a conflict on social networks, two groups of teenagers in the old Quy Hop district (Nghe An province) got into a fight, resulting in 11 teenagers being prosecuted.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on July 17, at the Hang Da coffee shop area, Quy Hop commune, two groups of teenagers led by Hoang Van Th. (born 2008) and Lang Thanh H. (born 2009), residing in the same Chau Hong commune, made an appointment to meet.conflict resolutionBoth sides prepared knives, machetes, slingshots, beer bottles, etc. While moving, Huynh’s group encountered Thien’s “113 Quy Hop” group at Dia Gioi bridge, leading to a fight and chase. Several motorbikes were smashed, causing panic among many local residents.

The investigation determined that both groups were well prepared, assigned people, carried weapons, even drove motorbikes doing wheelies, and paraded through the village streets. The seized evidence included 3 slingshots, 2 knives, 1 stick, 12 motorbikes, 15 phones, and many broken beer bottles.

Of the 42 teenagers who participated, the majority were under 16 years old.

On September 20, 2025, Chau Hong Commune Police said: On behalf of the Head of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency, on September 17, 2025, the Investigator - Chief of Chau Hong Commune Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 11 juveniles of legal age for the crime of "disturbing public order" as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 318 of the Penal Code.

Chau Hong Commune Police are continuing to consolidate the case file and handle the related subjects. The incident is considered a warning about the current state of violence among young people./.
