Mr. Khang said: With his experience, he spent 2 hectares of coastal land to dig ponds and raise clams, in addition to providing a source of seeds for himself and other clam farmers in the area. Raising clams requires a lot of experience, perseverance, and hard work. When clams spawn, the larvae must be immediately collected and released into the pond.
After the clams have grown to the size of a button, he releases them onto the sandy land along the coast to raise them. The tides rise and fall daily, creating favorable conditions for the clams to grow in the sand. The clams grow naturally, so it takes nearly 2 years to harvest.
