Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission inspects epidemic prevention and control work in Yen Thanh

The working group visited and inspected Covid-19 prevention and control checkpoints at intersections from National Highway 48E to Son Thanh commune. Currently, Son Thanh commune is implementing social isolation according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister to implement urgent measures to prevent and control the epidemic.Covid-19; The quarantine period starts from 6:00 p.m. on August 9, 2021. Up to now, Son Thanh commune has had 14 cases of Covid-19 infection, of which 11 cases are citizens returning from provinces and cities in the South and there are patients who were quarantined until the 14th day before developing the disease.

The delegation then inspected the Covid-19 prevention and control work at some concentrated quarantine areas in Yen Thanh district. So far, Yen Thanh has welcomed nearly 300 citizens from the southern provinces for medical quarantine. Currently, the number of people quarantined in the locality continues to increase.

At the inspection locations, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee acknowledged the timeliness, determination, and synchronization of localities in epidemiological investigation and isolation of high-risk people in the shortest time. He emphasized that in the current situation, Yen Thanh must mobilize the entire political and social system to participate, focusing on disease prevention; to effectively prevent and control the disease, it is necessary to rely on the people and promote community strength.
