Upon hearing the news that the Sultan of Kedah, former King of Malaysia, Sultan Apdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah passed away on September 11, on September 12, President Tran Dai Quang sent a message of condolences to the King of Malaysia, Sultan Muhammad V.
