At House 67, at 9:47 a.m. on September 2, 1969 (July 21, Ky Dau year), President Ho Chi Minh breathed his last. House 67 still preserves intact the memories associated with President Ho Chi Minh's life.

This was where Politburo meetings regularly took place during the fiercest years of the US imperialists' destructive war in the North.

President Tran Dai Quang respectfully offered incense and expressed his infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader of our Party and people, national liberation hero, and outstanding cultural celebrity.

Nearly half a century has passed since beloved President Ho Chi Minh left this world, but his great career and noble example will live forever in the mountains and rivers of Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style have always been the ideological foundation and compass for all actions, illuminating and guiding the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another.

Implementing his sacred testament, over the past years, the Communist Party of Vietnam has led the entire people and army to unite, strive, and successfully carry out the cause of innovation, building and firmly defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Talking to the staff of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, President Tran Dai Quang shared that every time he comes to offer incense at House 67 and visit the room where Uncle Ho lived during the last days of his life, he feels his heart become clearer.

Every time I come here, I see Uncle Ho as truly great, simple, and approachable. I am even more moved by his exemplary moral example and his virtues of "Diligence, Thrift, Integrity, Uprightness, and Impartiality" - the man who devoted his whole life to dedicating and sacrificing for the country and the people.

President Tran Dai Quang welcomed the officials and staff of the Relic Site for their efforts in preserving and keeping intact the artifacts associated with Uncle Ho's life.

This is a heritage for the people of the country and international friends to better understand the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh each time they visit, thereby contributing to promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the spirit of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo (12th tenure) in every cadre, party member and Vietnamese citizen.

The President advised the cadres and staff of the Relic Site to clearly recognize their honor and responsibility, to complete the task of preserving and promoting priceless relics for today and future generations; and to be exemplary in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year 2017, President Tran Dai Quang sent New Year greetings and presented gifts to the staff of the Relic Site.
