Localities need to propagate to people to focus on harvesting crops in coastal and riverside areas before the river water rises. For residential areas outside the river, flood-prone areas, local authorities and organizations, armed forces need to support people to put their assets on high ground to avoid flooding when the Ca River rises.
In addition, it is necessary to ensure electrical safety during floods. Absolutely do not let people go to the river to catch fish or collect firewood to avoid unfortunate risks.
At areas at risk of deep flooding, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested communes to assign people to be on duty 24/7 and not allow people to travel through these areas.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment needs to concentrate human and material resources at key dike points so that when incidents occur, measures can be taken to handle them immediately.
