Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung encouraged new recruits to join the army in 2021
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 28, Nam Dan district held the 2021 military enlistment ceremony. Attending the ceremony were: Major General Tran Khac Bang - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council.
Also attending were Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, along with leaders of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Nam Dan district.

In 2021, Nam Dan district has 172 citizens selected and called for military service. Of which, 160 citizens joined the Vietnam People's Army and 12 citizens joined the People's Public Security service.
Among the 172 young men who joined the army, 2 young men were admitted to the Party, 23 young men completed a Party sympathy course; 14 young men have university or college qualifications.
These new recruits were handed over to the following units: Engineering Brigade 414, Military School of Military Region 4, Brigade H80, Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Military Command and Provincial Police for training.

To ensure the prevention and control of Covid-19, new recruits had their temperature checked and were disinfected before entering the ceremony; relatives of new recruits were restricted from entering the Nam Dan district stadium where the ceremony took place.
Previously, the Provincial Military Command also coordinated with the Department of Health to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct and guide districts, cities, and towns to re-examine health and collect SARS-CoV-2 test samples for 100% of citizens who were issued military service orders.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of Nam Dan District People's Committee affirmed the glorious tradition of generations of fathers, brothers and people of Nam Dan district in the resistance wars to protect and build the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
At the same time, I hope that the 172 young men who are leaving for the army will fulfill the glorious duty of youth, continue to promote the tradition of the heroic Soviet homeland, the homeland of the great President Ho Chi Minh, actively study, train, strictly comply with the Military Regulations, Rules and Discipline, and excellently complete the assigned tasks.
