Reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Mai town said that, implementing the directives of all levels, the Town Party Committee, People's Committee, and Election Committee (EC) of the town have established a Steering Committee for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term and assigned tasks to members of the Steering Committee.

At the same time, communes and wards regularly propagate election regulations on the radio system, integrated through meetings, conferences, voter contacts, propaganda slogans...

Based on the number of allocated delegates and the structure, composition, and standards of delegates of the People's Council of Hoang Mai town, the Fatherland Front Committee of the town held two consultative conferences to agree on the structure, composition, and number of people recommended to run for the People's Council of the town, term III, 2021 - 2026.

As a result of the second consultation, the total number of candidates introduced was 60, to elect 32 town People's Council delegates for the 2021-2026 term. Regarding commune-level People's Council delegates, the total number of candidates introduced was 462, to elect 191 commune-level People's Council delegates for the 2021-2026 term.

Hoang Mai Town has also organized 29 conferences to collect opinions from voters at workplaces with the participation of 1,070 voters. At the commune and ward levels, 96 conferences have been organized to collect opinions from voters at workplaces. In general, the organization of conferences to collect opinions, comments, and trust from voters at workplaces of agencies, organizations, units, and localities has been ensured to comply with the correct processes, instructions, and procedures.

The Town People's Committee has issued a Resolution to determine 7 constituencies, a list of units and the number of elected representatives of each constituency for the People's Council of Hoang Mai Town, term III, 2021 - 2026, and 76 constituencies at the commune level. The Town People's Committee has issued 10 decisions approving 80 polling stations in the town.

Up to now, the People's Committees of communes and wards have basically completed the voter list with 77,478 people and are conducting a thorough review before posting according to regulations. In addition, the work of information and propaganda, ensuring security and order, health care, and handling complaints and denunciations related to the election work is being focused on and implemented by Hoang Mai Town.

After listening to the opinions of the delegation members, concluding the inspection session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung highly appreciated the thorough and complete preparation of the contents for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term of the Hoang Mai Town People's Committee.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town has divided the constituencies, determined the number of candidates and delegates according to regulations, suitable to the population of each locality. The organization and implementation of the first and second consultation conferences were seriously carried out with a structure that ensured the conditions of standards. The work of compiling and posting the voter list was completed early; proactively paying attention to handling complicated issues.

Pointing out the difficulties in the election preparation work in the town, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in the coming time, the Town Election Committee must organize and implement the 3rd Consultation Conference well, ensuring the correct composition, structure and standards. Strengthen propaganda work so that voters and people understand that this is a meaningful political activity, a festival for all people, especially in special areas and coastal areas.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Town Election Committee to continue to strengthen training, grasp public opinion, and promptly detect problems that may arise during the election to proactively resolve them, avoiding passivity and surprises. Pay attention to ensuring security and order, preventing epidemics, especially at polling stations. In particular, it is necessary to prepare specific plans and be ready to respond to ensure the election takes place safely and successfully.

Earlier in the afternoon of the same day, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also directly inspected the preparations for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term in Quynh Thien ward; directly inspected polling stations and posted the voter lists in the South American and North American blocs (Quynh Thien ward).
