In addition to the election committees established at each level, the city has established 7 election committees for city People's Council deputies in 7 constituencies and 206 election groups for National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels.

The determination of the structure, composition, and number of candidates for the City, Ward, and Commune People's Council delegates is in accordance with regulations and through two rounds of consultation, all meet the correct structure of female, young, non-Party, and re-election.

Specifically, after the second consultation conference, in the list of 60 candidates for the City People's Council, the percentage of women was 45%; young people 36.7%; non-Party members 16.7%; and re-election 23.3%.

Although the city has a large number of candidates for deputies at 4 levels with a total of more than 1,650 people, thanks to the proactive and close coordination with localities where candidates are located, the process of collecting opinions and trust from voters in the place of residence for candidates for deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels is organized scientifically, closely, democratically and objectively.

As a result, basically all candidates achieved a trust of 98.4% or more, with only 3 commune-level candidates achieving a trust of 50.4%.

The city focuses on propaganda work both in depth and on the surface; at the same time, proactively implements plans to ensure security, social order and safety, especially proactively resolving petitions and handling difficulties in the area.

At the meeting, after listening to the opinions of the members of the provincial inspection delegation raising a number of issues that the city needs to pay attention to, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee emphasized: The next stage of election preparation requires faster progress and requires caution and accuracy, which will determine the success of the election.

Therefore, Vinh city needs to increase the number of cadres to direct the grassroots level; along with that, it is necessary to evaluate and classify the areas to have specific and appropriate direction for each area.

Pay attention to professional training for the grassroots, especially the election teams, to avoid subjectivity and lack of focus; it is possible to build a scenario of procedures and tasks on election day for the election teams to operate smoothly, without making mistakes.

The Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee also noted that the city should direct wards, communes, blocks, and hamlets to strengthen inspection and regular supervision of the process of posting voter lists and candidate lists to avoid damage and tearing.

The Chairman of the Provincial Election Committee also raised a number of requirements related to the third consultation work, which must focus on the structure, especially the quality of candidates included in the official election list.

Organize candidates to campaign for elections in a democratic, public, equal and lawful manner. Continue to review facilities and voters, clearly defining each group of voters elected to 4-level and 3-level representatives, including paying attention to a detention camp, drug rehabilitation facility, ensuring voters exercise their right to vote.
