Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province visited and congratulated medical units
On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation praised the contributions of doctors and nurses in the cause of protecting and taking care of people's health.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited, encouraged and congratulated doctors, nurses and workers of Nghi Loc District General Hospital and General Hospital 115.
The delegation included comrades: Duong Dinh Chinh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Nghi Loc District Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Tung - Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee; Nguyen Quang Tieu - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee; Nguyen Huu Le - Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Dang Dinh Quang - Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council.
Visiting Nghi Loc District General Hospital, the delegation listened to the hospital leaders report on the unit's operations and medical examination and treatment. Accordingly, Nghi Loc District General Hospital currently has 24 departments and rooms; 370 beds; a total of 246 employees, including 65 doctors.
In the past time, Nghi Loc District General Hospital has performed well its functions and tasks of medical examination and treatment; disease prevention and control... In 2024, the total number of medical examinations at Nghi Loc District General Hospital reached nearly 136,000. The total number of outpatients reached nearly 24,000 people; inpatients reached over 21,000 people.
Besides the advantages and achievements, Nghi Loc District General Hospital still faces many difficulties and problems. Human resources, infrastructure, medical equipment... have not yet met the requirements of the task.
Speaking to congratulate the medical staff, doctors and workers of Nghi Loc District General Hospital on the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh acknowledged the efforts to overcome difficulties and the achievements of the unit; expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the medical staff in the cause of protecting and caring for people's health.
The dedication and sacrifice of the doctors and nurses of Nghi Loc District General Hospital in particular and Vietnamese doctors in general have brought light and faith to patients and their families; becoming the pride of all people.
Sharing the difficulties of Nghi Loc District General Hospital, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh also clearly stated the mission of the health sector in the revolution entering a new era, the era of the Vietnamese nation's rise. In this process, Nghi Loc District General Hospital needs to constantly strive to improve.
Hospitals need to do a good job of recruiting high-quality human resources to meet people's needs for medical examination and treatment; strengthen human resource training; invest in developing new techniques, specialized techniques, and high technology; and promote digital transformation in hospital management.
Presenting flowers to congratulate Nghi Loc District General Hospital, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh respectfully sent her best wishes for health and success to the doctors and nurses; at the same time, she expressed her hope that the hospital's medical staff will continue to strive, self-train to develop their expertise, cultivate medical ethics to be worthy of the trust and love of the people, and transmit positive energy to the patients.
Next, the delegation visited, encouraged and congratulated 115 General Hospital - This is a non-public hospital in Vinh city, with a scale of 350 beds, 24 functional departments, and 406 officers and employees.
Over the years, 115 General Hospital has been one of the leading hospitals in terms of technical expertise in the province. The hospital has done a good job of medical examination and treatment, ensuring safety and effectiveness; many serious cases have been successfully treated and cured. In 2024, the hospital was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the President.
Congratulating General Hospital 115, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh acknowledged and commended the hospital's staff for truly taking patients as the center and patient satisfaction as the guiding principle of operation. The hospital has become a trusted address for the people; becoming a model for public hospitals to learn from, especially in hospital management.
In the coming time, we hope that General Hospital 115 will continue to promote its operating principles; develop specialized techniques and advanced technology; and become the leading hospital system in Nghe An province.
On this occasion, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh and the delegation also visited and presented gifts to patients with especially difficult circumstances being treated at General Hospital 115. The gifts were taken from the Provincial Fund for the Poor./.
