Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long congratulated medical units on Vietnamese Doctors' Day
At the units visited by the delegation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long hoped that the team of cadres, doctors and nurses would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and make every effort for the cause of caring for people's health.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025), on the afternoon of February 21, the working delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and congratulated a number of medical units in Thanh Chuong district.
Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Department of Health, and leaders of Thanh Chuong district.

Thanh Chuong General HospitalEstablished in 1963, it is now a Grade II hospital according to Decision No. 3185/QD-UBND dated July 9, 2014 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
The hospital currently has 5 rooms and 16 departments. In 2024, the hospital's medical examination and treatment work achieved many outstanding results when the bed occupancy rate reached 125%; The total number of inpatients reached 143% (25,283/23,109 patients); The total number of outpatients reached 143% (5,813/4,050 patients)...
Thanh Chuong General Hospital is one of the typical units of Nghe An Health sector when it was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Government in 2015, the Third Class Labor Medal in 2017, the Certificate of Merit of the Government in 2014 and Certificates of Merit of the Ministry of Health, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor... The hospital's Party Committee has repeatedly achieved the title of Strong and Clean, and the collective has achieved the title of Excellent Labor.
Regarding Thanh Chuong Medical Center, the Center was established in 2007, with the name Thanh Chuong Preventive Medicine Center. From 2009 to present, the name was changed to Thanh Chuong Medical Center.
The Center currently has 6 departments and rooms with medical examination and treatment at the Health Stations maintained effective operations. In recent times, the Center has been proactive in disease prevention; controlling old outbreaks, dangerous diseases that appear seasonally and cyclically and diversifying propaganda work to the community.
Acknowledging the collective efforts of the two units in the past time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long praised the achievements of the team of doctors, cadres, nurses, doctors and medical staff in caring for and protecting people's health. These achievements have inherited and promoted the good traditions of the health sector over the past 70 years.
