Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented breeding cows to poor households in Tan Ky

Attending the event were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; on the side of Tan Ky district, there were comrade Phan Van Giap - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tan Ky District Party Committee, representatives of the Departments and branches of Tan Ky district.

This is a project to develop crossbred heifer breeding to create livelihoods for poor and near-poor households to escape poverty sustainably, according to the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, chaired by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to implement the project.

The total cost of the project is 450 million VND. After the cows give birth, the households will continue to hand over the calves to other poor households to develop the economy together to reduce poverty.

Speaking at the cow handover ceremony, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh assigned local authorities to do a good job of inspection, supervision and mobilizing households receiving breeding cows to actively raise and learn from each other's experiences to develop and transfer breeds to the next households.
