Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the great solidarity festival in Dien Ngoc commune (Dien Chau)
On the afternoon of November 16, comrade Truong Thiet Hung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province attended the Great Unity Day in Yen Quang hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, Dien Chau district.
Also attending were representatives of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Chau district and many local people.

Yen Quang hamlet was merged from the old Yen Quang hamlet and part of Ngoc Tan hamlet, since 2019.
The entire hamlet currently has a total natural land area of 56 hectares, home to 376 households, with 1,720 people. With the advantage of being close to National Highway 1A, the hamlet has a convenient location for trade and commerce. Currently, the entire hamlet has 9 companies and businesses trading in agricultural machinery, fisheries, gasoline, etc., creating jobs for hundreds of workers with stable incomes.
The total number of boats in the hamlet is 40. The people of the hamlet have known how to apply scientific and technological advances, combining practical experience into production, exploitation and fishing, reducing time and labor for high productivity and efficiency. Therefore, the total average income in the year is estimated at 85 million VND/person/year.
Not only that, under the leadership of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the support of departments, branches and organizations, especially under the direction of the Party Committee, Party cell, and the efforts of each person to overcome difficulties, local people have joined hands to successfully implement the movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". Thereby, the people of Yen Quang hamlet participated in upgrading the roads in the residential area to serve traffic, with a total length of 5.7 km and a cost of 3.7 billion VND.
In addition, with the tradition and history of cultural, artistic and physical education movements, in 2024 there were 366 cultural families, reaching 97.3% (an increase of 1.7% compared to 2023). Of which, there were 54 typical cultural families and 11 outstanding typical cultural families. In the hamlet, there are 2 cultural families, Vu Duy and Cao Khac.

Promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance in the community, many local people joined hands to support disadvantaged families as well as common activities. Specifically: Supporting the construction of houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in the area with an amount of 18.5 million VND; Supporting activities to celebrate National Day September 2 with an amount of 108 million VND; Supporting people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3 with an amount of more than 31 million VND.

Speaking at the festival, comrade Truong Thiet Hung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province highly appreciated the economic and social development achievements that the local government and people of Yen Quang hamlet have achieved in the past year.
