Chi Linh Pagoda supports building houses and giving warm winter blankets to poor households

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 14, Chi Linh Pagoda (Yen Thanh) donated 5 million VND in cash to support Mr. Lu Van Viet's family, hamlet 8, Xuan Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) to build a house.

Mr. Lu Van Viet (70 years old) is a poor household, he is a Tho ethnic, a demobilized soldier, from Que Phong district, returned to Xuan Thanh commune to start a family, life has many difficulties, especially in terms of housing. With this support money, in the coming time, his family will repair the house with thatched walls and dirt floor.

Venerable Thich Tue Minh - Abbot of Chi Linh Pagoda gave 5 million VND to Mr. Lu Van Viet's family.

This is the gratitude of Buddhist monks and nuns towards families who have contributed to the revolution.

On this occasion, Chi Linh Pagoda also organized the donation of 100 warm winter blankets to Khanh Thanh kindergarten and poor households in Hop Thanh commune.
