Long Hoa Pagoda organizes Buddha's birthday celebration

On the night of May 20, Long Hoa Pagoda in Hung Long Commune, Hung Nguyen District celebrated Buddha's Birthday, Buddhist calendar 2563. Attending the ceremony were representatives of Hung Nguyen District's departments and branches, Venerable Thich Dinh Tue - Head of the International Buddhist Committee - Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, along with Venerables, monks and nuns, and Buddhists from near and far.

At the ceremony, the head of the Long Hoa Pagoda's board of trustees read a speech welcoming the festival, highlighting the birth and immeasurable merit of Buddha - the founder of the world's great religion; affirming that the success of the 2019 United Nations Vesak Festival at Tam Chuc Pagoda - Ha Nam is a great contribution of Vietnamese Buddhism to international Buddhism.

On this occasion, Venerable Thich Dinh Tue presented the Hung Long commune's education promotion association with 2 million VND to encourage poor students to overcome difficulties in the area.
