Special art program 'Thousands of love'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's passing, 50 years since the entire Party, people and army implemented Uncle Ho's sacred Testament, on the evening of August 21, Voice of Vietnam Radio in coordination with Nghe An province and Ho Chi Minh City organized a special political and artistic program "Thousands of Love".

The program is broadcast, rebroadcast, and relayed on many channels and radio and television stations nationwide. The three locations hosting the program are: Voice of Vietnam Theater - Hanoi, Kim Lien National Special Historical Relic Site, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province, and Nha Rong Wharf - Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the program, at the Hanoi bridge point, were the following comrades:Tran Quoc Vuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Nguyen Van Binh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission; Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister; Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Uong Chu Luu - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President.
Also attending the program were members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of Central Committees, Ministries, and branches, Hanoi City, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and Embassies of several countries in Vietnam.
At the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site, Nam Dan, Nghe An, there was a delegation of the Cuban Revolutionary Defense Committee led by Comrade Carlos Rafael Miranda Martinez - Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Chairman of the Cuban Revolutionary Defense Committee; Major General Tran Vo Dung - Political Commissar of Military Region 4.
On the side of Nghe An provincial leaders, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province; leaders of Nam Dan district; a large number of people inside and outside the province.
At the Ben Nha Rong - Ho Chi Minh City bridge, there were comrades: Tran Luu Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and a large number of people of the city named after Uncle Ho.

Throughout the program are musical works written about Him, praising the homeland and country by famous authors, such as: Leader's song, From Sen Village, Footprints in the Front, Steps on the Truong Son Range, Uncle still marches with us, The South will forever remember His grace, Praising President Ho, Looking at trees and remembering Him, Uncle Ho, an immense love, Singing about Him, He is the belief in certain victory.

The three short plays performed include: "New Year's Eve" tells the story of Uncle Ho visiting the family of a woman who carries water for hire on the night of the 30th of Tet; "Pain" talks about the struggle to eliminate corrupt and degenerate cadres from the Party ranks; "Must have love and compassion for each other" is a story about camaraderie, comradeship...
The 3 skits recreated true stories from many years ago, but the ideas are still very new and modern about the issue of dealing with corrupt officials or that party members must be true servants of the people.
