HURRY ON THE CONSTRUCTION SITE

The construction site is bustling with the sounds of excavators, bulldozers, vibratory rollers of all kinds, pile drilling equipment... All the most modern means, machines and construction technology are being applied with full force to speed up progress, ensuring the goals set by the Government and the Ministry of Transport.

Present at the construction site, we recorded the bustling, urgent working atmosphere. Trucks carrying soil, sand, and construction materials followed each other into the construction site; bulldozers, excavators, rollers… continuously rolled, compacting each newly dumped block of soil and sand.

The construction team is actively focusing on completing the roadbed sand filling and the road system earth filling. At all construction teams, engineers, workers and mechanics are diligently sticking to the construction site.

They have been working day and night for the past several months in a frantic pace, racing against time to bring the project to completion on schedule.

Engineer Pham Van Tan - Director of the XL04 Package Management Board of the Nghi Son - Dien Chau section construction investment component project under the North - South Eastern Expressway Construction Project in the 2017-2020 period said: The unit has mobilized workers and equipment to work continuously in 3 shifts/day.

Thanks to that, up to now, the progress of the bidding package for Cienco4's work basically meets the investor's required progress. Currently, Cienco4 Group Joint Stock Company is actively taking advantage of favorable weather to speed up the progress of the frontage road project from Km49+600 to Km424+800 through Dien Chau and Yen Thanh districts.

On the construction site of more than 5.2km of package XL04, units of Cienco4 Group Joint Stock Company mobilized all equipment and human resources, divided into 4 foundation construction teams, 2 bridge construction teams, and 1 culvert construction team of the collector road system.

“The team of officers and engineers of the Executive Board regularly urges and directs units to apply many construction methods and the most effective construction solutions to “overcome the sun and rain” to complete the work volume according to the set schedule. To achieve progress, we have worked overtime and even night shifts. Along with ensuring construction progress, the quality of traffic works is always the top concern of the group.

According to the plan, the embankment and weak soil treatment will be completed by July 31, 2022. In 2022, the North - South Dien Dong expressway overpass over National Highway 7B will be completed" - Engineer Pham Van Tan informed.

SPEED UP PROGRESS

The North-South Expressway Project in the East passes through Nghe An with a length of 87.84km. The project has a total investment of nearly 7,500 billion VND, using State budget capital, belonging to 2 component projects: Nghi Son - Dien Chau section and Dien Chau - Bai Vot section.

In Nghe An, the project passes through Hoang Mai town and 5 districts: Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen. Of which, the North-South Expressway component project, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section, is 50km long, passing through Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces.

In the completion phase, the project will build a 6-lane road, 32.25m roadbed, and a design speed of 100-120km/h. In the immediate future, in the phased phase, the project will build a 4-lane road, 17m roadbed, and a design speed of 80km/h. The project has a total investment of about 7,293 billion VND, using the State budget.

The North-South Eastern Expressway Project is a national key project, playing an extremely important role and significance for the development of Nghe An province, especially in the context of the province focusing on promoting investment attraction, foreign affairs, economic cooperation and exchange, and enhancing trade competitiveness.

The launch of the expressway through Nghe An will also meet transportation needs, reduce the load on National Highway 1A and contribute to removing bottlenecks in logistics infrastructure.

For the North-South expressway component project invested in the form of PPP, Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway with a value of more than 9,200 billion VND, Cienco4 is one of the selected investors with a joint venture with a proposed winning bid price of more than 4,100 billion VND. Most recently, at the end of 2021, Cienco4 and Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company 492 started the bidding package for the construction project of Bach Dang 2 bridge (Dong Nai) with a value of nearly 314 billion VND.
