Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city congress term 2020 - 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - Launching a collective poetry collection each year and developing 15-20 more members, strengthening exchanges and support, creating conditions for members to launch their own poetry collections. That is the goal set at the first Congress, term 2020-2023 of the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city, Nghe An province.
On the morning of June 10, the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city, Nghe An province held its first Congress, term 2020 - 2023.

On September 25, 2019, the President of the Vietnam Poetry Club signed a decision to recognize the name of the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city, Nghe An province.
Currently, the club has more than 40 members, the oldest is nearly 90, the youngest is 39, most are around 70 years old.

The organization has been improved, the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city has maintained regular activities once a quarter. In addition, exchanges with Poetry Clubs in the province have been organized to expand exchanges and strengthen solidarity and friendship. Some members have also participated in poetry writing training courses, having the opportunity to learn experiences, skills and expand their knowledge of literature and art.

At the 4th National Poetry Performance Festival - 2019 co-organized by the Elderly Magazine and the Vietnam Poetry Club, the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city had a member win the A prize.
After 2 years of official operation, the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city has launched the poetry collection "Colors of Vinh city" (Writers Association Publishing House, 2020). The collection of poems consists of 116 poems, expressing the passion, enthusiasm, thoughts, concerns, spirit, and civic responsibility of each author.

In the 2020 - 2023 term, the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh City will consolidate the Executive Board, promote strengths, overcome limitations to make operations more and more effective. Each year, a joint poetry collection will be launched and 15 - 20 more members will be added, strengthening exchanges and support, creating conditions for members to launch their own poetry collections...
At the congress, members unanimously elected the first term Executive Committee of the Vietnam Poetry Club - Vinh city, Nghe An province, consisting of 5 people, with Mr. Ha Huy Minh as Chairman.

On this occasion, 3 members were awarded Commemorative Medals for their contributions to building and developing the Vietnam Poetry Club; 8 members were commended by the Vietnam Poetry Club for their good works./.
