The fireworks display is scheduled to take place over the Hudson River, according to fire department sources.
Sources informed that within the framework of the agreement with the city government, the fireworks display could start at 9:30 p.m., which is just half an hour after the end of voting in New York.
It is known that the fireworks were prepared before October 28 when the head of the FBI ordered an additional investigation into Mrs. Clinton's correspondence, which the public considered a heavy blow to the former Secretary of State's presidential campaign.
The newspaper commented that New York firefighters and law enforcement officials were also "shocked" by Mrs. Clinton's overconfidence. "Planning the victory celebration was a bit early. She must have been preparing for it before October 28," said a police department employee.
