Truck crashed into train while trying to cross railway

The accident occurred at around 10:00 a.m. on April 7, at km 273 + 558, on the North-South railway section through Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district.

The train hit the car and dragged it about 10 meters.

The truck was crushed after the strong collision.

Accordingly, at the above time, the truck with license plate 37C-16983 was traveling from National Highway 1A and then crossed the railway without a barrier to Do Thanh commune (Yen Thanh). Because it did not observe, it was hit by a freight train traveling from the North to the South.

The strong impact caused the car to be dragged about 10m and stuck in the middle of the bridge. The truck was severely deformed. The truck driver was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room.

The case is currently being investigated by the authorities.
