Should I drink a lot of fruit juice?
Fruits are healthy because they are rich in fiber and contain all the essential nutrients. However, when you consume too much of them in the form of fruit juice, you will lose out on essential nutrients.
Many people have the habit of drinking juice instead of breakfast, or using fruit juice for their diet. Fruit juice drinkers believe that it is more convenient and delicious than eating whole fruit.
However, according to Boldsky, consuming fruit juice is actually not as good as eating the whole fruit. First of all, in the juicing process, you tend to remove the skin or flesh, only taking the juice. In addition, when you filter it, the fibers such as orange, tangerine... in it are wasted, so all the fiber in the fruit has been almost completely removed.
And the next factor is whether you add sugar to it. If you consume sweetened fruit juices that also add sugar, you are increasing your risk of type 2 diabetes because they are low in fiber and high in sugar.
So is fruit juice bad? No, the sugar content in fruit juice is the first enemy and the removal of fiber is the second. Unsweetened fruit juice may be a better choice for you. But in all fairness, eating fruit in its raw form is always better than juicing it.

Here are some reasons to prove whether fruit juice is healthy or not?
Fact 1:If unhygienic juice is used, the risk of health hazards may increase. Avoid drinking juice from roadside shops that sell juice as you cannot control the origin of the fruit, whether it is spoiled or has excessive pesticide residues in the fruit, as well as the ingredients in the juice.
Fact 2:The fiber, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants in fruit slow down the absorption process when you eat it. But when you juice it, the fructose sugar in it is absorbed too quickly, and that is not good for your health.
Fact 3:Packaged fruit juice is not as pure as the one you make at home because it contains unhealthy flavors. Eating a fresh fruit is the best way to get its nutrients.
Fact 4:When you consume fruit, your system needs time to process it. But when you consume it in juice form, it spikes your blood sugar because the liquid takes less time to digest. This sudden spike is not good for your health.
Fact 5:The juicing process can strip out some of the nutrients as well as the fiber content of the fruit. So if the juice is over-processed like filtering it multiple times, straining it too much or adding other ingredients like flavorings or water, it is nothing more than an unhealthy sugary drink that contains no nutrients.
Thus, according to the recommendations of nutrition experts, fruit juice actually only contains some water-soluble substances such as simple sugars and vitamin C. Other valuable nutrients such as vitamins A, E, carotene, fiber, etc. are not soluble in water and therefore do not exist in juice.
If you use fruit juice for a long time, it will lead to protein and fat deficiency, loss of vitamin reserves that help metabolize sugar in the body. Therefore, if you abuse it too much, it can easily have adverse effects on your health.
