Every day at 6am, when the tide recedes, a sandy road appears, about 500m long, 8m wide near the island, then gradually narrowing to about 2-3m away. When the tide rises, the road is submerged about 1m below the sea level.

When the tide recedes, the children of Diep Son village begin their hurried life. They walk along the road to catch crabs and snails to sell to earn money to help their families.

One day, the children catch about 3-5 kg ​​of crabs and snails, selling for about 40,000-50,000 VND.

This is both a livelihood and a small hobby for them.

When the water recedes, the men in the village go fishing, because at that time many fish swim to the shore in search of food. They cast nets over an area of ​​several hundred square meters, then use sticks to push the fish into the nets.

Around 10am, the water started to rise. People rushed back to the village. But at this time, tourists visiting Diep Son were delighted to have fun on the special road.

The water is clear, covering the sand.

Tourists begin to enjoy the feeling of walking in the middle of the vast ocean.

Boats are also moored, waiting for the water to rise to return to the village after a morning of fishing.
