Mr. Lu Van Tuan panicked and cycled to find his son. Many people stopped to ask, share and report his son's disappearance to the authorities.

On the afternoon of December 2, while the interdisciplinary team of Ky Son district was organizing the clearance of the traffic safety corridor in Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, a small man, riding an old bicycle, with a panicked expression, met the people in the team with eyes asking for help, calling his son's name "Yeu, Yeu".

The man introduced himself as Lu Van Tuan, born in 1979, residing in Khe Ti village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son. Mr. Tuan said that while he was driving his son named Lu Van Yeu (born in 2006) on the road, when he reached the front gate of Muong Xen town market, he could no longer see his son behind the car.

Hearing the story, many people gathered to ask questions, some panicked and assumed that the child had been kidnapped and called the authorities. However, after the authorities checked and verified, it was found that Mr. Tuan's son was not missing but was busy playing with friends.

Authorities also said that this was not the first time they had heard reports that Mr. Lu Van Tuan's son was missing. In mid-November, the Ky Son District Police also received a report from Mr. Lu Van Tuan that his son Lu Van Yeu had suddenly gone missing.
