The arrested subject is Hoang Nghia Cuong, born in 1993, residing in Hamlet 7A, Hung Long Commune (Hung Nguyen District). The evidence seized at the scene included 270 US firecrackers, 240 ball-shaped firecrackers and 2 seconds of firecrackers, with a total weight of 13.3 kg.

According to the suspect's statement, Cuong bought the fireworks from a stranger for 11 million VND. When Cuong was transporting the fireworks through the Loc Chau Apartment area in Nghi Huong ward, he was discovered and arrested by Cua Lo town police.
