Nghe An police hand over charity houses and boarding areas to students in Ky Son

(Baonghean.vn) - As part of a series of charity activities in 2019, Nghe An Provincial Police organized a ceremony to hand over charity houses and inaugurate a boarding house for students in mountainous areas in Ky Son district.

On September 17 and 18, the Nghe An Police delegation led by Colonel Ho Van Tu - Deputy Director, held a handover ceremony of a gratitude house to the family of Major Kha Van Hien - Captain of the General Investigation Team of Ky Son District Police, in Khe Ty village, Huu Kiem commune.

Comrade Kha Van Hien is a Thai ethnic cadre, has worked for many years at the Ky Son District Police and has many achievements in his work. Due to difficult family circumstances, his family has not yet been able to build a solid house. Understanding the family's difficulties, the Provincial Police proposed to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to support 70 million VND to build a house of gratitude for his family.

On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Police also held an inauguration ceremony for a boarding house for students at Muong Long 2 Primary School, Muong Long Commune. With the support of Nghe An Police, charitable organizations donated and supported 120 million VND to complete the construction and hand over the boarding house to students, helping the school and students here to somewhat reduce difficulties, continue teaching and studying well.

Muong Long 2 Primary School is one of the schools far from the center of Ky Son district with nearly 20 classes, the students are mainly Mong ethnic people with difficult family circumstances, some school locations due to harsh weather and high mountainous terrain make traveling very difficult.
