Nghe An police arrested the subject who caused 6 robberies

Accordingly, in order to have money for personal spending within just 3 weeks, Nguyen Dinh Tuan consecutively committed 6 robberies of 8 mobile phones from passersby at night in the districts of Tan Ky, Do Luong, Con Cuong (many cases were not reported by the victims).

Specifically, on the evening of June 13, 2025, on the road from Tan Ky town to Ky Son commune (Tan Ky district), Nguyen Dinh Tuan drove a motorbike from behind and snatched a mobile phone, worth about 6.5 million VND, from a woman and quickly ran away.

Previously, on the evening of June 5, 2025, Nguyen Dinh Tuan also snatched two phones from passersby in Do Luong town, Do Luong district. A few days later, the victims went to the police station to report the incident.

On June 19, 2025, the Criminal Police Department presided over and coordinated with the police of Nghia Dung commune, Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district; Luu Son commune, Thai Son commune, Yen Son commune, Van Son commune, Do Luong town, Do Luong district; Lien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district to arrest and urgently search Nguyen Dinh Tuan for the act of "Robbery" and Phan Van Khoi for the act of "Receiving property obtained by others through crime".

It is worth mentioning that before being arrested, Tuan also had 2 previous convictions for "theft of property" and "robbery".

Confiscated evidence included 8 mobile phones of various types and other related evidence.

At the Police Investigation Agency, Nguyen Dinh Tuan confessed that after snatching 8 cell phones from passersby, he sold them all to Phan Van Khoi to get money for personal use.

Also related to the case, the Police also arrested Phan Van Khoi (born in 2005), residing in Van Tu commune, Yen Thanh district to investigate the act of "Receiving property obtained by others through crime".

Currently, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and expand the case.
