Nghe An police 'hotly' arrested a subject transporting a large amount of drugs at midnight

The Mobile Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has just arrested the subject.Luong Van Luu (SN 1986),residing in Ban Han, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An) for illegally transporting drugs at midnight..

Accordingly, on August 18, 2019, upon receiving information that a subject was illegally transporting drugs in Vinh City, the Mobile Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police deployed synchronous professional measures, dispatching patrol teams to coordinate in monitoring all movements of the subject.

At around 00:15 on August 19, 2019, the Mobile Police force discovered the subject moving in a car with license plate 37A - 545.67 at area 205, Le Duan Street, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City, suspected of carrying drugs.

Stopping the car for inspection, the task force discovered and caught Luong Van Luu red-handed for illegally transporting drugs. The authorities seized a plastic bag containing a white powder suspected to be heroin in his pants pocket; a plastic bag containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine weighing about 1 kg and 1,202 round tablets suspected to be ecstasy were seized in the handbag on the back seat of the car.

At the police station, through investigation, Luong Van Luu confessed that he was hired to transport the above drugs including heroin, pink phien and crystal meth to Quang Nam province for sale with a fee of 10 million VND.

Currently, the Mobile Police Department, Provincial Police has handed over the subject and evidence to Vinh City Police to continue the investigation and handle according to the provisions of law.
