Nghe An Police reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements

Attending the Conference were comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism.

Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the Conference. Also attending were comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police Department.

From the beginning of May 2025 to May 18, 2025, in addition to performing well in regular tasks by solving many outstanding cases and cases, the Provincial Police mobilized maximum forces and means to ensure security and order and serve many especially important political programs and events.

Among them, many large-scale activities include: Activities of Party and State leaders in Nghe An with the largest number of delegates ever; Opening Program of Sen Village Festival and Inauguration of the Statue "Uncle Ho Visits His Homeland"; two professional consultations of the Ministry of Public Security held in Nghe An on a national scale; National scientific conference "Building a culture of thrift and fighting waste in the new era of development"; Marathon "Journey in the footsteps of Uncle Ho - For the security of the Fatherland"; Photo exhibition "People's Public Security engraves Uncle Ho's words"; National scientific conference "President Ho Chi Minh - A noble symbol of the will and aspiration for national independence, freedom and happiness for the People".

In recognition of the above efforts, attempts and outstanding achievements, 42 groups and 84 individuals were commended and rewarded on this occasion.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive and responsible spirit of Nghe An Provincial Police, which contributed to the political system of the whole province in successfully organizing important programs and events on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the birth of beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

In the coming time, implementing the direction of the Central Committee, especially that of General Secretary To Lam, Nghe An province needs to strive to develop the economy; focus on directing the organization of party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; continue to arrange and reorganize administrative units according to the two-level local government model...

To complete those tasks, in addition to the efforts of the entire political system and the people, requires the active participation of the Nghe An police force.

Therefore, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Police to continue to proactively grasp the security and order situation in the area, promptly advise the Standing Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to lead all levels, sectors and localities to effectively direct the resolution of incidents, avoid being passive and surprised; create stability to effectively serve the economic development of the locality.

In particular, the work of ensuring security and order and advising on removing bottlenecks in the implementation of economic and social development projects; organizing the prevention and suppression of crimes and violations of economic and environmental laws, not allowing them to affect the investment environment of the province.

Focus on synchronously and drastically implementing many measures to ensure security and safety for party congresses at all levels. Proactively coordinate with all levels and sectors to review, evaluate and advise on political standards for party congress personnel.

In addition, attention should be paid to directing and arranging the organization of the commune-level police apparatus to be efficient and effective, promoting the effectiveness of security and order assurance work right at the grassroots level; at the same time, selecting commune-level police chiefs is an important factor to support the Party Committee and government in directing and operating all aspects of work at the local level.

Strengthen coordination with all levels and sectors to do a good job of grasping the situation related to the process of merging organizational apparatus, promptly advising on effective handling, creating consensus in public opinion.

In his closing speech at the Conference, Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police, acknowledged and warmly commended the Police of units and localities for their contributions to the success of the series of events and the work of ensuring security and order in the area in general.

In the coming time, there will be many large activities and events organized. The Director of Nghe An Provincial Police Department requested that the Police of units and localities continue to promote the achieved results, study, learn from experience, overcome the shortcomings and limitations pointed out to organize programs and events more carefully and successfully.
