Nghe An police 'hotly' arrested a subject transporting a large amount of drugs at midnight

(Baonghean.vn) - Police checked Luu's person and confiscated in his bag in the back passenger seat of his car a plastic bag containing about 1 kg of crystal meth and 1,202 round tablets suspected to be pink pills.

Accordingly, at around 00:15 on August 19, 2019, the Mobile Police force discovered the subject moving in a car with license plate 37A - 545.67 at area 205, Le Duan Street, Trung Do Ward, Vinh City, suspected of carrying drugs.

Stopping the vehicle for inspection, the task force discovered and caught Luong Van Luu (born in 1986), residing in Ban Han, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district (Nghe An) for illegally transporting drugs. The authorities seized 1kg of crystal meth and 1,202 pink pills from the subject.

At the police station, Luong Van Luu confessed that he was hired to transport the above drugs including heroin, pink phien and crystal meth to Quang Nam province for sale for a fee of 10 million VND.
