Nghe An Police exchange experiences in internal political security work in the Central provinces

This is an activity within a series of activities to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023) and towards the 65th anniversary of the tradition of the Internal Political Security force (May 10, 1958 - May 10, 2023).

In Quang Binh, the delegation visited the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Vung Chua, Yen Island, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province. Offering flowers and incense to the General's spirit, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions and merits of General Vo Nguyen Giap - an excellent and close student of President Ho Chi Minh, the eldest brother of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the Quang Tri Citadel Cemetery, the delegation offered incense and flowers, expressing their infinite gratitude and deep appreciation for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth, bravely fought and sacrificed their lives in the 81-day battle to protect the Citadel. On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Duong Dinh Van, Head of the Department, pledged to continue following the example of the heroic martyrs and excellently complete all tasks, worthy of the sacrifices of previous generations for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

At the Public Security of Quang Tri, Thua Thien - Hue provinces, and Da Nang city, the delegation exchanged and learned experiences in the work of protecting internal political security. In recent years, the Internal Political Security force of the Public Security of the provinces has proactively grasped the situation and advised the Party committees and authorities from the province to the grassroots to seriously implement the Party's directives and resolutions on maintaining security and order in general, and internal political protection work in particular; regularly exchanged and informed the activities of hostile forces and all types of crimes to agencies and units, closely coordinated with the Public Security forces at all levels in the fight against crime.

This is also an opportunity for units to review the tradition of the Internal Political Security force, thereby striving to successfully complete assigned tasks.
