(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 3, Nghe An Provincial Police organized an award ceremony for Vinh City Police and related units for their outstanding achievements in detecting and fighting against subjects who illegally bought and sold large quantities of drugs from abroad to Nghe An.

Previously, after a period of investigation, the Police Department caught Nguyen Thi Hao (born 1985), residing in Nam Ngan ward, Thanh Hoa city, red-handed for illegally buying and selling drugs.
Continuing to expand the case, on November 30, 2018, the police force caught Tran Le My (born in 1976), residing in Block 1, Hong Son Ward, Vinh City, and Tran Quang Hai (born in 1988), residing in Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc District, in the act of illegally buying, selling, and storing drugs, confiscating 2 heroin cakes; 8,000 synthetic drug pills; 1.3 kg of crystal meth, 1 gun, 69 million VND, 1 car, and 3 mobile phones...

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police praised the achievements of the Task Force. The Deputy Director also emphasized that this is an exceptionally outstanding achievement of the Vinh City Police force, related units in particular and the Provincial Police in general, which have effectively fought and prevented drug trafficking and transportation of large quantities into Nghe An.
At the same time, the Deputy Director also expressed his hope that in the coming time, the units will promote the achieved results, establish more outstanding achievements, effectively fight against all types of crimes, contributing to ensuring security and order at the end of the year when the Lunar New Year 2019 is approaching.
