On October 6, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung signed Decision No. 3045/QD-UBND on the appointment for a term of 5 years of Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong - Head of the Planning and Finance Department of the Department of Health to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health.

Presenting the decision and flowers to the new Deputy Director of the Department of Health, Comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated Comrade Nguyen Van Thuong for being trusted by the provincial leaders and given the important responsibility; and congratulated the Department of Health for fully completing the Board of Directors.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assessed that Comrade Nguyen Van Thuong is a well-trained officer, has held many important positions in the health sector, and has always completed assigned tasks well. Therefore, he is confident that when assigned an important responsibility, he will complete the tasks expected by the Board of Directors and the health sector.

As Deputy Director of the Department of Health, Comrade Nguyen Van Thuong needs to continue studying, practicing, improving his capacity, professional qualifications, and public ethics. The leaders of the Department of Health need to unite, unify, support, and help Comrade Thuong to complete the assigned tasks. The immediate task is to assign appropriate tasks so that Comrade Thuong can promote his strengths and working capacity; build, supplement, and perfect regulations so that the activities of the sector are more complete.

Appreciating the role and results of the health sector in the past time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long hopes that in the coming time, the Department will have a system of regulations and a comprehensive and methodical implementation plan. In particular, it will be able to implement a number of tasks and breakthroughs directed by the province and the Ministry of Health, such as developing grassroots health care and solving difficulties in medical examination and treatment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of the Department of Health said that in recent times, the health sector has achieved many important results. At the provincial level, 4 hospitals have become Grade I hospitals, 1 hospital in the North Central region. At the district level, basic health care and preventive health activities have many innovations. In particular, medical ethics, attitudes and responsibilities in serving the people have changed significantly.

Regarding the new Deputy Director of the Department of Health Nguyen Van Thuong, Director of the Department of Health Duong Dinh Chinh hopes that he will continue to make efforts, strive, cultivate professional ethics, political qualities, improve foreign affairs capacity, and together with the Department's leadership team, complete assigned tasks, for the development of the health sector of Nghe An province.
