The last citizen in the provincial quarantine area in Nghe An is allowed to return home.
(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, the total number of people in quarantine in the area is only 98. Of which, 38 people are quarantined at home; 27 people are quarantined at the district level and 32 people are quarantined and treated at the hospital.
On April 20, Colonel Duong Minh Hien - Deputy Commander of Nghe An Provincial Military Command said that the authorities had just awarded a certificate of completion of quarantine obligations to the last citizen who had to be quarantined at the provincial level. This citizen entered the country from Laos via an illegal route and was discovered by the authorities and brought to quarantine according to regulations. The test results showed that this person was negative for Covid-19. Thus, up to this point, 28 provincial quarantine points in Nghe An are empty.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, Nghe An has had 10,257 people quarantined to prevent the epidemic. Of these, 6,863 people have been quarantined at the provincial level.
To date, Nghe An has tested 7,442 cases, of which 7,087 people tested negative, while the remaining 355 are still awaiting results.

However, the health sector recommends that people continue to strictly follow the Covid-19 epidemic prevention guidelines. In low-risk areas, people still need to wear masks when going out, limit contact with crowded places, and wash their hands with sanitizer regularly.
