Nghe An Newspaper Trade Union completes congress for term 2023 - 2028
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 4, the Nghe An Newspaper's grassroots Trade Union held the Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term with the theme "Solidarity, democracy, creativity, and innovation in the Trade Union organization to contribute to building a strong Nghe An Newspaper and successfully completing its tasks".
Attending the Congress, on behalf of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union, there were comrades: Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman; Dao Thi Thanh Mai - Vice Chairman.
On the side of Nghe An Newspaper, there were comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief; comrades in the Party Committee and Editorial Board.
Continue to innovate content and form of activities
Nghe An Newspaper currently has 7 departments with 74 officers, reporters, and employees; 3 special collaborators working in specialized departments. The material and spiritual life of officers, civil servants, and employees is generally stable; working conditions are taken care of, basically meeting the requirements for professional work and journalism operations.

During the 2017 - 2023 term, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Editorial Board and the efforts of the staffcivil servant, workers, Nghe An Newspaper Trade Union has achieved important achievements in implementing grassroots democracy regulations, administrative reform, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, civil servants, public employees, workers and carrying out social activities.
Propaganda and mobilization work for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers is regularly focused on and effectively implemented. In particular, patriotic emulation movements are organized among cadres, civil servants and workers. During the past term, 380 cadres, reporters and employees were recognized as Advanced Workers, 80 were Emulation Fighters at the grassroots level and 16 were recognized as Excellent Labor Collectives.

Organizational building workunion, participate in Party building; mobilize female cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; inspection work... is also carried out regularly. Implement the leadership of the Party Committee, closely coordinate with professionals in trade union activities.
In addition to the achieved results, the Congress also frankly pointed out the limitations, shortcomings and causes, and directions for overcoming them in the coming term. Those are the activities of the Trade Union Executive Committee that are not present evenly; propaganda work is sometimes not really diverse and rich; some movements do not clearly understand the role of the trade union...

The Congress also set out key directions and tasks for the 2023-2028 term with the goal of continuing to innovate and be creative in trade union activities, contributing to building a strong contingent of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; motivating cadres, civil servants and public employees to excellently complete political tasks, be proactive and improve quality; participate in management, administrative reform, implement democratic regulations in agencies, care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, civil servants and public employees.
Continue to build cadres, civil servants and public employees who are "Loyal; Responsible; Integrity; Creativity" associated with "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", building a strong trade union organization, contributing to the successful implementation of the targets set by the Resolution.CongressThe 18th Congress of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the term (2017-2023) proposed.

Speaking at the Congress, the members expressed their heartfelt opinions about their working experiences.
Efforts in emulation movements
Acknowledging the achievements in the past term, comrade Tran Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief gave instructions and requested the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the term 2023 - 2028 to regularly study, improve qualifications, and be exemplary in all activities. Regularly innovate working methods, closely coordinate with the Party Committee, Editorial Board and organizations to effectively carry out inspection and supervision work.
Increase attention to propaganda work of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws for union members, responsibly carry out the campaign "Studying and following the moral example and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh". Coordinate with professional groups to organize patriotic emulation movements well, contributing to the excellent completion of the agency's tasks.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union highly appreciated the efforts and results of Nghe An Newspaper Union in the past term. He also requested that in the next term, Nghe An Newspaper Union should promoteemulation movement, have mechanisms and policies to create conditions for reporters to closely follow life and promptly reflect issues of public concern.
