Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union summarizes activities in the first 6 months of 2022 and awards prizes for competitions

In the first 6 months of the year, the representative role of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members, civil servants, public employees and workers wasNghe An Civil Servants' Unionspecial attention to implementation.

Specifically, 100% of units have organized conferences for cadres, civil servants and public employees in 2022, of which, compared to 2021, the number of units organizing in December 2021 increased by 9 units, with no units organizing after January 2022.

In order to take care of union members and workers in the Covid-19 epidemic in a timely manner, the Civil Servants' Union has subsidized 26 F0 union members who had to be quarantined at field hospitals, visited 19 F0 union members who had to be quarantined at home with a total amount of more than 36 million VND; presented more than 3,000 masks, worth 3 million VND to units at high risk of Covid-19 infection...

In Workers' Month 2022, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union presented 88 sets of protective clothing and helmets to union members and workers; visited and presented gifts in kind to 59 union members' families in difficult circumstances who are renting houses or living in collective housing or public service areas of the agency, each worth 550,000 VND; provided subsidies to 17 union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses, each worth 500,000 VND... along with many other meaningful coordinated activities.

In addition, some activities such as launchingfolk dance club,The organization of the photo contest "Beauty of union members in labor", the online Ao Dai photo contest, the union member welfare program... organized by the Civil Servants' Union also created a spread, leaving many good impressions on union members and workers.

In the first 6 months of 2022, the Civil Servants' Union developed 75 new members, introduced and considered 61 members to join the Party, both contents exceeded the target assigned by the Provincial Federation of Labor. In addition, contents such as organizing emulation movements, union inspection work, women's activities, financial work... were also focused on implementation.

Based on the 2022 action plan, in the last 6 months of the year, the Civil Servants' Trade Union and grassroots trade unions will focus on 13 key activities. Specifically, continue to direct grassroots trade unions to participate in the Program "1 million initiatives to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" and the contest "Ideas and initiatives for digital transformation in state agency activities", organize emulation movements according to the plan and summarize a number of emulation movements. Training on trade union activities, issuing regulations on scoring and classifying grassroots trade union emulation in 2022 and evaluating the goals and targets of the Resolution of the Civil Servants' Trade Union Congress for the 2017-2023 term are also directed by the leaders of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union...

Attending the conference, representatives of grassroots unions had many presentations sharing experiences in union activities in the first 6 months of the year and orientations for the last 6 months of 2022.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Chu Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc highly appreciated the 7 opinions presented at the conference and the results achieved by the Civil Servants' Trade Union in the first 6 months of the year.

Regarding the direction of activities in the last 6 months of the year, he noted that the unit needs to review the work program of the year, the congress targets for 2017-2022 to prepare for the new term congress, avoiding the case of not completing the targets. At the same time, trade unions at all levels need to have good preparation for the trade union congresses at all levels in parallel with continuing to research and implement the contents in Resolution 02. In addition, emulation movements, such as "Administrative reform", "Digital transformation" ... are also among the contents that need special attention to propagate, educate, and enhance the responsibility of union members and workers in performing their tasks.

In his speech, comrade Chu Ba Long also congratulated Nghe An Workers' Union on its 22nd anniversary.

Summarizing the conference, comrade Nguyen Cong Danh accepted the instructions of comrade Chu Ba Long, acknowledged the comments of the grassroots unions and affirmed that the quality of union activities will contribute to promoting professional activities. At the same time, the head of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Union also had specific directions for the grassroots unions for upcoming events such as the Congress of Unions at all levels, Tet Sum Vay in 2023... and directed the units to actively respond to competitions and emulation movements...

Also at this event, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union awarded 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes, 3 Encouragement Prizes to outstanding works in the photo contest "Beauty of union members in labor". In which, the work "Nghe An Newspaper reporter working at the scene of deforestation in Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district" by Nghe An Newspaper Union won First Prize.

In addition, the Civil Servants' Trade Union also awarded 4 Second Prizes and 3 Third Prizes to individuals who won the online contest "Trade Union participates in administrative reform and building public service culture" organized by the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.
