Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union deploys tasks for 2021

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 12, Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union held a mid-term review conference to implement the Resolution of the 18th Congress of Nghe An Trade Union, the 12th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union; summarize trade union activities in 2020, and deploy key tasks in 2021.

For most of the half term, the numberunionThe number of grassroots and union members of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union has remained basically unchanged. By the end of 2020, the implementation of the province's policy on merging new public service units has seen an increase in the number of union members. The rate of workers joining the union reached 100% in 2020.

In 2020, agencies and units implemented the Provincial People's Committee's decisions on mergers. Therefore, the number and membership of trade unions under the Civil Servants' Trade Union fluctuated. The total number of grassroots trade unions is currently 59 units (down 4 units compared to the beginning of the year); the total number of union members is 4,709 (up 27 compared to the beginning of the year).

In 2020, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union carried out its tasks and achieved important results such as taking care of and protecting the rights of union members; promoting propaganda and education; developing union members, building union organizations and developing party members and emulation movements, and enthusiastically operating.

Organize visits and give gifts to 31 union members andworkersdifficult circumstances at 11 grassroots unions during the Lunar New Year with the amount of 15,500,000 VND. Directing the Nghe An Guest House Trade Union and the Nghe An Newspaper Trade Union to organize the Tet Sum Vay program with a total budget of 64,300,000 VND.

The grassroots trade union promptly organized visits and encouraged union members in difficult circumstances. 1,666 union members were visited with a total of 1,227,913,033 VND. Responding to the call for "All people to support the prevention and fight against Covid-19", all grassroots trade unions mobilized union members to join hands in contributing to the fund with a total amount of 1,968,358,302 VND...

Deploying the tasks of 2021, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union determined to carry out well the theme of Improving the quality of grassroots trade union activities and grassroots trade union officials. Specifically, continue to organize well the activities to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Focus on grasping information of union members from the grassroots to resolve, participate in timely resolution, and prevent the occurrence of petitions that go beyond the level.

On this occasion, the Provincial Civil Servants' Union was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Provincial People's Committee for its excellent performance in completing its work and leading the emulation movement in 2019; the Provincial Civil Servants' Union and 01 individual were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in calling for and mobilizing support for programs.social security

Also on this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to 02 collectives and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2020. The Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 23 collectives and 171 individuals with achievements in movements in 2020.
