Cong Phuong becomes Ambassador of Exchange in Japan

On March 28, striker Nguyen Cong Phuong had a meeting with the Governor of Ibaraki Province (Japan). At this meeting, the striker from Nghe An was appointed as the "Ambassador of Exchange between Ibaraki Province and Vietnam".

On the afternoon of March 28, the Facebook page of Mito Hollyhock Club posted noteworthy information: "On Monday, March 28, player Nguyen Cong Phuong of Mito Hollyhock team had a meeting with the Governor of Ibaraki Province.

During that meeting, player Nguyen Cong Phuong was appointed by the Governor of the province as the "Exchange Ambassador" of Ibaraki province and Vietnam.

After this appointment ceremony, we hope Cong Phuong will cooperate with the team and Ibaraki province in activities to promote the increasingly close exchange relationship between Ibaraki province and Vietnam."

The loan contract for Cong Phuong between HAGL and Mito Hollyhock Club is worth 100 thousand USD for 1 year. At Mito Hollyhock, Cong Phuong receives a salary of 3000 USD.

However, after the injury he suffered in January while playing for the Vietnam U23 team at the 2016 AFC U23 Championship, Cong Phuong has not been able to play for the Mito Hollyhock team in Ibaraki province (Japan).
