Golden City Joint Stock Company, Nghe An Newspaper give support to patients in difficult circumstances
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 18, Golden City Joint Stock Company coordinated with Nghe An Newspaper to visit and give gifts to patients with serious illnesses, people in difficult circumstances and poor households in Vinh City on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Patient Tran Dinh Tuan (1969), hamlet 9, Nam Trung, Nam Dan, Nghe An is being treated at the Tropical Diseases Department, Vinh City General Hospital with decompensated cirrhosis and anemia.
The terminally ill patient had been treated for a long time in the hospital. However, due to extremely difficult family circumstances, he only had a weak mother over 80 years old, a sister in difficult circumstances; no relatives to take care of him, the hospital supported him with food and treatment costs.

In order to share difficulties and encourage patients to overcome their illness, on this occasion, Golden City Joint Stock Company and Nghe An Newspaper supported 10 million VND for patient Tran Dinh Tuan.
Next, the delegation visited and presented 10 million VND in support to the family of Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh (Block 19, Dong Vinh Ward). Ms. Thanh's family situation is extremely difficult, her husband died early, and she herself suffered from a stroke. Her eldest son, who has graduated from university, and her second daughter, who is in university, are both affected by the effects of Agent Orange and are in poor health and cannot take care of themselves.
Currently, her family only relies on local support and help from relatives and neighbors.
