Dai-ichi Vietnam Company and Nghe An Post Office donated 150 gifts to poor students in Anh Son.
(Baonghean.vn) - With the desire to bring practical support to children in difficult circumstances when the cold winter is coming, on the morning of January 7, the "For a beautiful life" Fund of Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam and Nghe An Post Office visited and presented 150 gifts to students of Long Son Primary School, Anh Son district.

Each gift includes a warm coat and a school backpack worth over 200,000 VND. The total value of 150 gifts is over 30 million VND.
Since September, the “For a Beautiful Life” Fund has cooperated with Vietnam Post Corporation to present 1,500 gifts worth over 320 million VND to students in difficult circumstances in the provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, Bac Kan, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Son La and Nghe An.

This is a series of activities within the “Love for Children” program that has been initiated by Dai-ichi Life Vietnam for many years to help disadvantaged children across the country. In 2018-2019, the program was implemented with a total of 2,500 gifts worth over 550 million VND, implemented by the “For a Beautiful Life” Fund of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam in collaboration with Vietnam Post Corporation.
In addition to this program, over the past 12 years, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is proud to have pioneered many meaningful social charity activities with a total contribution of more than 26 billion VND such as: Eye surgery program for poor patients; clean drinking water program for schools in remote areas; building rural bridges, donating blood; giving scholarships to poor but studious students, giving contracts to teachers in difficult circumstances, etc.

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is honored to be the only life insurance company in Vietnam to be awarded the “Excellent Corporate Social Responsibility” award by Asia Insurance Review twice. The first time was in 2013 with the “For a Better Life” program - providing clean drinking water systems for more than 24,000 students in rural schools in Vietnam, and the second time was in November 2015 with the “Million Red Bricks, Building Bridges of Happiness” program.
Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam is also the unit that signed a 15-year exclusive insurance agency contract with Vietnam Post Corporation to promote the distribution of life insurance products that bring many practical benefits to customers in rural and remote areas across the country.
On January 17, 2018, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of the Company's establishment in Vietnam (January 18, 2007 - January 18, 2018), in recognition of the Company's outstanding achievements contributing to the development of Vietnam's economy as well as its contributions to the community.
