In response to the 2020 fire prevention and fighting month, within its scope of management, Nghe An Power Company has synchronously deployed many solutions to prevent risks of fire and explosion, causing unsafety and affecting the operation of the power grid such as: Strengthening the implementation of inspection, review of thermal imaging, thermal measurement at locations and contact points on power lines, medium and low voltage transformer stations under its management scope to early detect the possibility of fire and explosion on the power grid at times of high load; Strengthening the high and low voltage grounding system and power grid equipment, promptly adding electrical safety signs to warn of the danger of electric shock, preventing fires and explosions at locations of power poles, transformer stations, electrical cabinets... At the same time, clearing trees near the electrical safety corridor, eliminating black spots that pose a risk of fire and explosion due to electricity.

I. Electrical installation in the house

- Only repair electricity in the house after turning off the power, with dry hands and feet and wearing shoes.or dry shoes and use repair tools with well-insulated handles.

5. Flying kites or playing soccer near power lines.

6. Shoot birds perched on electric wires and power stations.

7. Throw or throw anything onto power lines.

8. Remove the tie-down straps and grounding wires of the electric pole.

9. Digging the ground causes subsidence of the electric pole foundation.

10. Using electric poles to build houses, tents, stalls, or to tie up cattle or other livestock.

11. Approaching a broken electric wire or fallen electric pole and cleaning it up without the permission of the person in charge of electricity to notify that the power has been cut off.

IV. Things to know to prevent electrical accidents

4. 4. During storms and lightning, do not go near tall trees, power lines or power stations.
