Specifically, this complete environmental treatment chain includes a closed, automatic machinery system including 3 biogas tanks of 3 hectares, 2 neutralization ponds, 2 aerobic ponds, 3 physicochemical sedimentation ponds, 5 technical treatment ponds, 1 post-treatment ecological pond, and a modern source water supply system. All are invested synchronously, helping to treat wastewater to meet standard A. Thanks to this closed system, most of the wastewater will be recycled for the factory, the remaining part will be used to irrigate agricultural crops in the raw material area.

In particular, in 2020, Hoa Son Agricultural Processing Company Limited also put into operation a factory producing glucose from cassava starch. The factory was invested with over 10 million USD, the technology line was imported from European countries.

According to experts, the physical, chemical and nutritional properties of glucose are widely used in the fermentation industry (beer, alcoholic beverages), confectionery production, fast food canning and other fields of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries... Therefore, the investment of Hoa Son Cassava Starch Processing Factory in putting into use a glucose production line from cassava starch not only diversifies products but also increases the economic value of cassava in Nghe An.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - General Director of Hoa Son Agricultural Products Processing Company Limited added: Currently, Hoa Son cassava starch processing factory creates jobs for over 200 local workers, with a stable salary of 8 - 9 million VND/person/month. The factory contributes billions of VND to the local budget every year. The company also pays special attention to raw material areas, with favorable purchasing policies for farmers.

In the 2020-2021 cassava crop, the factory purchased cassava tubers at a fairly high price, over 2,000 VND/kg. However, the current difficulty is that the cassava raw material area of ​​the factory is only over 3,000 hectares, concentrated in Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, and Ky Son districts. The processing capacity has only reached 60-70%, due to lack of raw materials, the factory is having to collect from Son La province and neighboring Laos.

Mr. Hoang Quyen - Chairman of Anh Son District People's Committee said: The factory located in the area has created jobs for many local workers, especially changing the production mindset, purchasing cassava raw materials, improving the lives of thousands of cassava farming households. Every year, the factory performs well in welfare work, such as allocating billions of VND to support the construction of charity houses and charity activities. Anh Son District also accompanies the factory to stabilize the source of raw materials to help the factory feel secure in production.

Intimex Cassava Starch Factory: Consumes 140,000 tons of cassava tubers/year

(Baonghean.vn) - Intimex Nghe An cassava starch factory in Thanh Chuong area has a large raw material area including Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Nghia Dan, Con Cuong, Yen Thanh, Nam Dan districts and Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh. In the 2015-2016 crop year alone, the factory achieved a consumption of 140,000 tons of cassava tubers.
