Voters propose to arrange 1 more Vice Chairman of People's Committee for communes of type II and III

Mr. Le Dang Thang - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Trang commune suggested that in addition to seriously handling and removing corrupt officials from their positions, there must be a solution for those people to compensate for the lost money.
In addition, voter Thang is worried about the increasing drug trafficking and large quantities, so he proposed to deal harshly with drug dealers, organizers and users.
Regarding the organizational structure, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Trang commune proposed to arrange for type II and type III communes to have 1 more Vice Chairman of the People's Committee. Because according to regulations, currently only type I communes have 2 Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee; while type II and III communes only have 1 Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, while there is a lot of work.

Voter Vuong Dai Tuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Quynh Lap commune said that in 2018, the commune had 88 fishing boats supported for offshore fishing. However, according to current regulations, offshore fishing boats must spend at least 15 days from departure to return to be supported.
However, according to fishermen, this strict regulation is not practical, because there are offshore fishing boats that have reached full production in less than 15 days, or because of storm warnings, they have to return to shore even though there is not enough time to receive support.
Therefore, Quynh Lap people suggested that there should be flexible regulations on calculating the total time at sea in a year to calculate support for fishermen. Voter Dai Tuong also said that fishermen in the commune proposed to reduce the fee for using the navigation equipment of fishing vessels.
At the conference, voters also proposed many other contents such as investing in completing new rural infrastructure; there should be a single electricity price for farmers; need to carefully calculate and attach occupational characteristics when increasing the retirement age...

Regarding the idea of adding one more Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of type II and III communes, the Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 said that the National Assembly plans to discuss 9 draft laws in the upcoming session, including the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Government Organization and the Law on Organization of Local Government.
This draft law is proposing amendments in the direction of increasing decentralization and delegation of power to localities; reducing the number of members of the People's Committee at the provincial and district levels, reducing the number of Vice Chairman of the People's Council by 1, and increasing the number of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level by 1.
On that basis, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi suggested that voters continue to contribute ideas through channels and forums to contribute to the development of this highly-considered law project.
