Ky Son voters: Need to consider building hydroelectric projects in the area

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 22, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council had a meeting with voters of Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district.

At the meeting, voters of Muong Tip commune sent to the Provincial People's Council 11 opinions and nearly 20 recommendations focusing on issues such as: Requesting superiors to support rice to relieve hunger for households with crop failures due to natural disasters and epidemics; promptly repairing degraded domestic water works; promptly supplying national grid electricity to villages without electricity; promptly asphalting Road 7B from Muong Xen town to Muong Tip and Muong Ai communes; continuing to provide seedlings and seedlings to households with economic difficulties.

In particular, among the petitions of many voters, there is an opinion from voters of Ta Do village, Muong Tip commune, requesting the Government and central ministries and branches to consider the level of impact on people's lives from the implementation of the construction of the Nam Mo hydropower project in the area.

On behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Lau Ba Chay, a Provincial People's Council delegate elected in Ky Son, discussed, explained, and accepted the opinions and recommendations of voters within his authority and promised to forward them to the Provincial People's Council in the next session. Regarding the opinion related to the Nam Mo hydropower project, Mr. Lau Ba Chay promised to forward it to the Provincial People's Council for comments to be submitted to the National Assembly.
